From March 6 on “Shant" TV there will be episodes from the hearing phase of “Premiere 3”. Project director and producer Anna Tadevosyan told "Zhoghovurd" that unlike the first and second series, there will be some significant changes within the "Premiere 3". The first is that this season will be a hearing phase. "If till now jury was selecting the best 6 songs by listening to recordings, now the authors will present and perform in front of a jury, and the jury will say yes or no.
Another feature of this season is that if last times the project was accepting only pop songs, now also folk songs. There will also be three pop singers and three folk singers, "said A. Tadevosyan.
As it is known, "Premiere" is not a singers competitions, but a song contest, so the 6 participants have already been selected. They are Janna Davtyan and Hayk Hunanyan from the final of "X-Factor 3" project, singer, songwriter Nick Yegibyan, Nare Gevorgyan from final of "Super-Star 2”, winner of “Jhogovrdakan yergich 2” Haykuhi Babakhanyan and finalist of the same contest Eva Tashchyan. It remains only for the participants after the first hearing of 150 songs, choose 6 best ones.
It should be noted that jury has also changed. Andre will be replaced by Garik Papoyan, who will be a producer. Jury consists of the director of "Radio Van" Shushan Arevshatyan, singer Arsen Safaryan and songwriter Gisane Palyan. And the host will be Grisha Aghakhanyan. The project will be on the stage for about two months.
A. Tadevosyan stressed in a conversation with us that the project has two main aims. "We have a lot of musical projects, in these projects each year many talented personalities emerge, however, when the project is finished, few of them continue and remain well known. They can not create their own playlists, work with right producers, so the "Premiere" gives a chance for that singers a second chance. And our second goal is to reveal talented authors and other creators. The project gives opportunity to composers who likely don’t have a higher education and are sitting at home, to be recognized in a field” the director explained.
We must mention that "Premiere" is the first musical format Armenian project of the international registration.
