Haykuhi Babakhanyan was born on February 20, 1992.
She finished the secondary school, the music school specializing in piano and Ashough
School named after Jivani.
In 2009-2011 she studied at State Musical College named after Romanos Melikyan, and in
2011 she entered Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas.
In 2008 she was recognized as the winner of the project “Folk Singer 2” on Shant TV.
In 2011 she participated in the 3 rd International contest-festival of musicians-performers
“Renaissance” and was awarded the title of the winner.
In 2012 Haykuhi participated in the all-Armenian festival “My Armenia” and was awarded
the certificate of the Ministry of Diaspora.
In 2012 she was awarded by K. Shahgeldyan, governor of the RA Kotayk province for
achievements in the development and propagation of folk songs, as well as for her
significant contribution to the development of culture in the province.
In 2013 she participated in the 2 nd Interregional cultural exhibition and contest-festival and
won the nomination “The best individual performer of folk songs”.
In 2013 she gave a solo concert in the Aram Khachatryan Grand Concert Hall.
In 2014 she participated in the gala concert dedicated to the 300 th anniversary of Sayat-
Nova, organized in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses.
