Yerevan became the international capital of books since yesterday. Different activities were organized on this occasion in different parts of the capital from morning till late evening. A symbolic ceremony took place by Matenadaran. Titleholder of “International Capital of Books” 2011, the mayor of Buenos-Aires handed the relay – Argentinean musical instrument bandoneon. So Yerevan will hold the title of the international capital of books for one year.
